2026 McDowell Physical Day

The 2026 McDowell Athletics Physical Day is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, at the Allegheny Health Network Health + Wellness Pavilion on West Ridge Road. This event will fulfill the physical requirement for the 2026-27 school year for student-athletes in grades 7-12. The cost is $15 for the exam. Report times: Grade 7 - 8 a.m. Grade 8 - 9 a.m. Grades 9 & 10 - 10 a.m. Grades 11 & 12 - 11 a.m. Please print Sections 5 & 6 of the PIAA COMPREHENSIVE INITIAL PRE-PARTICIPATION || PHYSICAL EVALUATION packet. Parents should complete Section 5, physicians at Physical Day will complete Section 6. Please bring your child during the assigned times above, you will not be allowed in the building until your assigned time. Parking and lobby space is limited which is why we set up these times and are spacing athletes out. If you show up early, you will be asked to return at your assigned time. If you have multiple children or have a child with a schedule conflict, please email the McDowell Athletic Trainers to determine best time to arrive. We appreciate cooperation with this day so it can run smoothly, safely, and in a timely manner.
